Description: He wears a blue shirt, with a black mid length shorts with black tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them, and carries sickles. He has no hair. His green eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He is dressed in a clean grey cloak covering his clean studded leather. He keeps his chestnut hair in a pixie cut. His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Description: An older man who wears a brown vest and prefers yellow and green shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down, he is not a threatening figure. He sports a flattop hair cut. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep green.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. He keeps his long black hair kept up in a rat tail. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his club with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy auburn hair. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born to a Layabout, his father struggled to pay the bills. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
