Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears long strands of opal and short blue dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. He has a long red beard with little hanging trinkets. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gerald grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gerald. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

His brown hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Manfred hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Manfred was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Born in the east to a Barrister, Peter learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He struck the Barrister job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he has money and likes to spend it
