His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He became a Engraver soon after.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His head has been shaved. His eyes are likewise brown.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Reynard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Reynard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Reynard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He tends to his Map Maker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and someone believes him a fraud
