He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: He is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. He is portly but not overly obese. He has done his best to style his auburn hair to look like a famous performer. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his hazel eyes.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. He has styled his chestnut hair well, parting it to the left. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gray.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. The war was a terrible time for him, and Diggory does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he wants revenge against dire rats

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miner. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
