However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Blacksmith. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 8 years.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and balancing his hectic life and new blacksmith responsibilities is difficult

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Armorer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Armorer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Patrick was born the youngest of three triplets. Patrick abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.
