History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. Chad enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Dyer. He tends to his Dyer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Tailor arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
