History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off his debts

Description: His skin is bronze and flawless. He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. He is an epitome of beauty. With bright golden hair and a scraggly beard. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Miles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To unite with his brother.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Description: Standing 5'1", this man wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His black hair is long and unkept. His eyes are a pleasant blue.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears a red costume with the symbols of strength on his torso. He has dyed his greying silver hair a little too much giving a sharp silver color. His eyes are brown and catlike.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Mayor work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mayor work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and to end his boredom
