Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Hunter business.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

His blonde hair is singed and shortened. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and is dressed in earthy colors with a black and yellow handkerchief worn on his right side. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His black hair is heavily combed to the right. His gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Don hails from a village terrorized by goblins. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Dyer. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: This exceptionally lanky man is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing black cape and mantle trimmed with soft tan waves gently in the breeze. His auburn hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a Stetson hat. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gunter embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Through the years after Gunter was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gunter's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Gunter and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his shield with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He has moderate length white hair. His ears are large.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Engraver kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he has decided he is irredeemable
