History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Dean alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of giants

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Ralf was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He takes great joy in being the best Healer in town.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Thomas grew up listening to his father's many stories. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he wants revenge against illithids

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He got into the Painter business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Painter. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Painter for hire.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.
