History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He tends to his Armorer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving Conrad enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Conrad was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bather. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: The child of a Ruler, who enjoyed hunting, Manfred was taken on many hunting expeditions. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He's also a talented Ruler, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
