Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His long golden hair reaches down to his waist. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Anselm lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Description: He wears tattered old clothes. He carries with him a set of scimitars on his belt, each one with a emerald on the hilt. He has styled his golden hair well, parting it to the left. His blue eyes peer out from beneath his broad grey hat.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Balimaar was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Balimaar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: This man is very fat, and usually wears his yellow robe and has his sai always slung over his shoulder. His moppish chestnut hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His eyes are hazel and beady.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he is content

Description: This man is very fat, and is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright tan and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His white hair is singed and shortened. His eyes are brown and catlike.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. Guy is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: The child of a Bather, who enjoyed hunting, Guy was taken on many hunting expeditions. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Description: He wears tan painted combat armor at almost all times, and carries maces. He keeps his white hair in a flapper bob. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
