History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of drow may trigger it at times.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Miles alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it
