History: Bertram lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Reynard's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment, and is pretty ugly. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His hazel eyes peer out from beneath his feathered grey hat.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Patrick liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He's also a talented Bookbinder, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac
