Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. Adelard is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Adelard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He got into the Painter business at a young age. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born in the north. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people
