History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Description: An older man who wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment, he is not a threatening figure. He has no hair. His amber eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Guy grew up listening to his father's many stories. Through the years after Guy was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Guy's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and retire the richest man in the north

He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Justin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and regain custody of his son

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born into a rich family. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Slave Trader and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Carpenter. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing singing.

History: He got into the Carpenter business at a young age. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He got money to start a business from the gang present in town. He is greatly indebted to them.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and expand his business
