Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Bernard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. After a long history of fighting, Patrick and his spouse have recently divorced.
