History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Aldous grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Aldous. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

His violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by vampirism.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Richard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Richard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Balimaar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Balimaar and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Human compassion; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs
