Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He dresses in green turtlenecks beneath a white coat with green slacks. His hair is red and very short. His eyes are likewise amber.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Frederick embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. Being a Navigator kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears dark leathers with embroidery. His hair is short and golden. His half smiles and hazel eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. The war was a terrible time for him, and Bernard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Bernard was born with his father's beautiful face. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Butcher for hire.

Motivation: To end his boredom.
