History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Hugh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Theodoric lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He wants to get laid; and to reunite with his absent mother

Description: This tall, slender man is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His moppish black hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His eyes are hazel.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Gilbert was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Animal Trainer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Animal Trainer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His hair is short and black. His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: He was born into a rich family. At a young age his father died while driving off some giants. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in flail use. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Adam was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and many giants want him driven away
