Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He has all his life been fascinated with painting.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Description: His right side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. With bright red hair and a scraggly beard. His fierce hazel eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Cook but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he sports brown clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. His hair is blonde and very short. His brown unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. A true patriot, Chad would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Chad was born the youngest of three triplets. Chad was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Chad decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty brown coat over it. He wears his brown hair up. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bertram grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bertram. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
