History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Roland grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born in the north. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and many gnolls want him driven away

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Percival fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

Description: With pastel face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His ears are large.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gifted student he started as a Merchant, but he got bored and became a Map Maker. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and expand his business

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and an old rival family wants him found
