History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. At some point he was captured by brigands and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Arnold was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Manfred was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Manfred and his spouse have recently divorced.
