History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Tim grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature mace.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Bricklayer profession.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He worked as a nervous Laborer and found it very stressful. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bricklayer. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Lance hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to find somewhere to settle down
