History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Hubert abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and to reunite with his absent mother
