History: The child of a Locksmith, who enjoyed hunting, Gilbert was taken on many hunting expeditions. History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ernest was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He tends to his Apothecary job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
