History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Patrick never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Farmer. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Anselm fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
