History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. His long brown hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His violet unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Aldous was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Aldous's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Scribe business.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Theodoric and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He likes to wear ponchos typically of a light tan in addition to tight pants. His silver hair, when down, is lengthy. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.

Personality: Patrick speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Patrick was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
