History: Alex hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Alex has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Cory was born the youngest of three triplets. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Cory alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Richard's homeland. Richard decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
