Upon awakening, Arnold discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Arnold fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His hair is chestnut and very short. His amber eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Conrad was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Conrad fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Navigator but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Dean grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
