However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Ploughman. Recently the stress of being a Ploughman has made it difficult for him to sleep.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When Don reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He worked as a nervous Layabout and found it very stressful. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Layabout for the past few years.
