However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Gilbert was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. He worked as a nervous Knight and found it very stressful. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Lewis was born the youngest of three triplets. Lewis was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Healer. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
