He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. Recently the stress of being a Merchant has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Born to a Mercenary, his father struggled to pay the bills. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Shane never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
