History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. When Charles reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Gifted from a young age, Theobald studied abroad. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
