History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Adventurer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and a deep hatred of orcs

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
