Description: This tall, slender man prefers to wear flannel. He wears his golden hair down. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: He is fixated on the number 5. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.
History: Nicholas lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears tattered old clothes, and a wedding ring on his left hand. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy blonde hair. He is baby faced.
Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.

Description: He wears a tattered pair of loose grey pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'6" when asserting himself. He keeps his long auburn hair kept up in a rat tail. This green eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He takes great joy in being the best Engraver in town.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gomory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Engraver. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Knight. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He tends to his Knight job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Dean has worked very hard to control his curse. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
