History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Manfred grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Manfred. Being a Soapmaker kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Born to a Miner, his father struggled to pay the bills. He always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing black cape and mantle trimmed with soft white waves gently in the breeze, and he perpetually has his shield ready. He has moderate length chestnut hair. His blue eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Guy was born with his mother's beautiful face. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Description: He very much looks the part of a Cartwright. He has a chestnut handlebar mustache and slicked back chestnut hair. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: Guy lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He became a Cartwright soon after.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Description: He is a pot bellied northern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. His golden hair is lengthy. He is baby faced.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. After a long history of fighting, Rolf and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.
