History: Odo was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and wants to work out more often

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Carter born in the past three hundred years. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Carter but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Theodoric was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Carter for the past few years.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he is content

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 6 years.

History: Gifted from a young age, Alex studied abroad. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He's also a talented Courier, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he has money and likes to spend it
