History: Shane was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He worked as a nervous Body Guard and found it very stressful. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Body Guard.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Theobald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
