Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Conrad was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Conrad's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Hugh reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
