He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in the north to a Tailor, Patrick learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Through the years after Patrick was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Patrick's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: Born in the south to a Shepherd, Anthony learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

The war was a terrible time for him, and Godfrey does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Godfrey was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.
