Description: With black face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he very much looks the part of a Courier. His hair is chestnut and curly. His eyes are blue and beady.
Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He invites people to come help in his community garden.
History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Courier for the past few years.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new courier responsibilities is difficult

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears a grey vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His black leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his grey boots flare out at the collars. His chestnut hair is thinning but still full. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: Hugh was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he dresses well, wearing black shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: He was born into a rich family. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.
Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His auburn hair is smooth and relatively long. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.
History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Fortune-teller. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge, and a wedding ring on his left hand. His golden hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a card scrunchie. His amber eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Tanner for the past few years.
Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and balancing his hectic life and new tanner responsibilities is difficult
