The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. After a long history of fighting, Jocelyn and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Tim hails from a village terrorized by drow. Through the years after Tim was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Tim's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against drow.
