History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Clerebold was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Clerebold's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: Dean was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sage hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor.
