History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Gerald took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up falchion and armor he uses now. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Simon fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Dustin lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and wants to raise his children well

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Map Maker.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and wants to open a new tavern
