History: Anselm hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it.

His blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born to a Navigator, his father struggled to pay the bills. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Description: An older man who is dressed in earthy colors with a yellow and brown handkerchief worn on his right side, he is not a threatening figure. He has a red handlebar mustache and slicked back red hair. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Slave Trader arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Slave Trader. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
