Miles Wentworth, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is an average looking northern male in his early mid-life. He wears a tan shirt, with a blue mid length shorts with blue tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. His Stetson hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Miles grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Miles. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.
Flaws: Ugly. Bonds: Job, Religious, Criminal record, Adventurer. Occupation: Stableman
Voice: Loud with bravado

Jocelyn Hadlee, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This slender man stands about 5'7". He is well dressed, constantly wearing a yellow suit, brown shirt, and green tie. His black hair has been sun bleached extensively. He is baby faced.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Jocelyn embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Jocelyn took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up hammer and armor he uses now. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
