Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. He has dyed his greying black hair a little too much giving a sharp black color. He is baby faced.
Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Guard born in the past three hundred years. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Adelard's homeland. Adelard decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 9 years.
Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and further expansion of business

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he is wearing a tight tan one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. His hair is long and blonde with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small tan clips. His beard is black, braided, and well cared for. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: He is fixated on the number 57. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.
History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 2 years.

Description: His right side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears a yellow vest and prefers green and violet shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His white hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a skull scrunchie. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gerard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He tends to his Marshal job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
