Description: 5'11" and muscular, this western man usually wears his black robe and has his hammer always slung over his shoulder. He keeps his brown hair in a pixie cut. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Mayor. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Roger was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

A flowing tan cape and mantle trimmed with soft brown waves gently in the breeze. His auburn hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his green eyes.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gilbert does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Gilbert was born with his father's beautiful face. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, John embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and to prove his worth to the world

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Roger was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and an old rival family wants him found
