History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Lance was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his necromantic talents. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. In his youth he was a Shepherd, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
