His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He bought a hammer and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: Gerard speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
